  • Summary changed from DEB: Tasks for deepamehta - 4.0.5-1ubuntu6 to DEB: Tasks for deepamehta - 4.0.5-1ubuntu7

I published deepamehta-4.0.5-1ubuntu6 with a correction of the conditions under which the db is removed to backup. So this is now the to do list for deepamehta-4.0.5-1ubuntu7.

The following patches are small enhancements to my init.d script. They enable logging of the init.d events to /var/log/deepamehta by default.

Oups! You need to change START_DEEPAMEHTA=yes to no again in /etc/default/deepamehta after you applied the patch. Sorry!

Hi Silke, just a minor issue in /etc/default/deepamehta:

# /etc/default/deepamehta	2011-11-13 16:12:07.330037393 +0100
# This file is utilized by init script /etc/init.d/deepamehta.
# Set START_DEEPAMEHTA to 'yes' to start DeepaMehta daemon.
#
START_DEEPAMEHTA=no

# Log init.d actions to logfile
# (default: /var/log/deepamehta/deepamehta.log)
#
LOG_DEEPAMEHTA_INIT=/var/log/deepamehta/deepamehta.log

The first line includes a time stamp which I think is from the patch file or has at something to do with it. I would suggest to remove it with the next version, so that the file just looks like this:

# /etc/default/deepamehta
# This file is utilized by init script /etc/init.d/deepamehta.
# Set START_DEEPAMEHTA to 'yes' to start DeepaMehta daemon.
#
START_DEEPAMEHTA=no

# Log init.d actions to logfile
# (default: /var/log/deepamehta/deepamehta.log)
#
LOG_DEEPAMEHTA_INIT=/var/log/deepamehta/deepamehta.log

Everything else went fine! :)
