Description
Attributes: Visible on each page, directly next to the logo, containing a prominent link to the latest stable release.. which all editors have the right to update.

Graphisch denke ich da an eine ausgestaltete Region, im Header-Bereich neben dem Logo, mit einem schicken "Download"-Button unter dem evlt. auch der "Slogan" unserer Platform geschrieben steht. Die Region stell ich mir ungefähr mit einer Höhe von 200-400px vor, und je nach Gestaltung, die Breite der 1/2 bis 3/4 Seite einnehmend.

Hey, why the download button has changed?
The previous layout looked better (the heading was aligned with the Quotes block).
Now the layout is broken (linebreaks within links!) and everything is kind of flowing away.
Furthermore: Below "Download" please write "Current version: 4.0.6" (as it was before).
Strip that "Latest Binary for Users". That language is *not* helpful for users.
Drop also the "Latest Binary ..." link. It is redundant and confusing.
Please write "All releases" and "Debian/Ubuntu?" in separate lines. As it was before.
