We've set up a menue item "Neuigkeiten" in the main menue which can hold the news. I would prefer this location (rahter than the concept -> publishing section). When importing the old news, please delete the trial news that are still there.

works for me
see https://deepamehta.vzsze.de/de/import/old_deepamehta_newsfeeds
though relative paths to images are not yet resolved on our temporary server, which is correct.
probably use drupal feeds module cause it says that therewith one can import RSS Feeds..
http://drupal.org/project/feeds
http://www.deepamehta.de/rss/news.xml contains dates and images properly set. This is one of the most important parts of the old website to be migrated.
Rolf, can you install the Feeds Module for me/us and let me/ resp. you give it a try?
