Ticket #301 (closed Defect: fixed)
disable "drag and drop ignored" message
Reported by: | joern | Owned by: | jri |
---|---|---|---|
Priority: | Major | Milestone: | Release 4.1 |
Component: | DeepaMehta Standard Distribution | Version: | 4.0.11 |
Keywords: | Cc: | dgf, Malte, tsc | |
Complexity: | 2 | Area: | GUI / Usability |
Module: | deepamehta-webclient |
Description
When navigating in mid-sized and bigger content maps, it often happens that one accidentally marks some text in the menu bar for example. further dragging of the map is then interpreted as a drag'n'drop event, making DM returning a drag'n'drop error. This isn't crucial, just somewhat annoying and flowbreaking while working with DM.
This behavior is confirmed with Debian 6 and Ubuntu 12.04 using either Chrome 21 and Chromium 21.

Yes, I see the problem.
I think the toolbar and canvas should not be selectable at all.
This should solve the problem. I'll fix that.
