unfocus topic when clicking in empy space of the map

Description

Currently (at least in 4.1.3-SNAPSHOT) is very difficult or impossible to have no focus on any item. But in terms of just displaying a map one might want to show the map without any item focussed on it. Normal behaviour would be that one clicks somewhere into the empty map. One would expect the details panel to be empty or just displaying the elefant, just as it is if one starts with the online demo.

This is a good idea!
I'll realize this just as you've described it.
It will be part of upcoming 4.1.3 release.

Webclient: fix selection reset (#523).

The selection is not reset on mouseup when canvas move was in progress but aborted through mouse leaving the canvas.

See #523.

Wow, this was fast. I am sorry that I cant test drive this stuff right now but IMO the selection must not be reset if I am panning the canvas/map (just in the case if I click into the map (and release) without moving the mouse). I guess you realized it this way, or? Thank you very much.

Exactly :-)

Webclient fix: canvas click saves form (#523).

When clicking on the canvas while in edit mode the form input is saved before the page panel is cleared.
No input is lost.

See #523.
