Description
.. subsequent to #538 the moodle plugin will generate some sort of diff highlighting and referencing new materials in one of a users courses now available for further studies.
I think that wrapping up these information in an extra topic/item of type "Moodle Update" or "Moodle Usage Report" is not the way we want these infos to be presented in the UI, or?
How do you think DM should present such "ephemeral" but in depth infos to end-users?
And do you think DM should inform that an update has just been performed on behalf of the user?

For the moment just one thing: I think you're talking about a what's new visualization which is (fortunately) less complex as a diff (which includes deletions as well).
