Description

Now as the new workspace ACL management will allow for more collaboration szenarios with DeepaMehta, I think it is key to show some more information about a topic in the webclient. Most important for me would be to see who created (and/or) last edited a topic(type). Here I mean (mainly) human interaction of course. Also the timestamp would be good to see (when ...)

OK, as dicussed on the phone for 4.5 we go for this quick (interim) solution: the topic/association context menu get a new item "Get Info". It opens a (modal) dialog box and shows the creator/modifier info and timestamps.

Add "Get Info" dialog to topics (#747).

The topic context menu has a new item "Get Info". It opens a (modal) dialog box and shows the creator/modifier info and timestamps.

Pending:

  • display workspace info as well (workspace assignment, workspace owner, sharing mode)
  • "Get Info" dialog also for associations

See #747.

Is the workspace owner an association or a property? I think the user really needs to know the owner, too. I was surprised that it is not displayed within the workspace, so I guess it is a property?

Replying to JuergeN:

Yes, the workspace owner is a property.
Yes, definitely, the user needs to know the workspace owner.

This will come very soon:

  • display workspace info as well (workspace assignment, workspace owner, sharing mode)
  • "Get Info" dialog also for associations

In e1afe5414d240048ba9eadc47b09acdff9024b2c/deepamehta:

"Get Info" dialog: fix owner display (#747).

If a topic/assoc has no owner the Get Info dialog displays "undefined" as the owner.
Note: this can happen for "system content" (as opposed to user content).

See #747.
