Website: "Log in" link is not working

Reported by: jri Owned by: Malte
Priority: Minor Milestone:
Component: Drupal Website Version:
Keywords: Cc: Malte, rk, JuergeN
Complexity: 3 Area:
Module:

Description

In case the browser window is not wide enough to show the entire page, that is when a horizontal scrollbar appears, the "Log in" and "Register" links are not active. They do not respond to mouse clicks.

The DOM inspector reveals that the (absolute positioned) "Log in / Register" element is overlapped by the main menu element (which is wider than the actual menu content). The main menu element absorbs the mouse events then.

rk can you fix this?
Priority is low.

To change this, one would have to change the CSS of the language selector and the search form, too, since they use the same "logic". Probably better, if Malte does it, since he ported the theme.

  • Owner set to Malte
  • Status changed from new to assigned

OK, thanks for the info!

comment:3 Changed 9 years ago by jri

  • Status changed from assigned to closed
  • Resolution set to wontfix

I fear this will not be fixed.
